Developing open-source technology and machine learning tools for wildlife conservation
Discover opportunities to join and collaborate with the Conservation Tech Lab.
The CTL offers fellowships to students in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Fellows contribute to various hardware and software projects that directly impact wildlife conservation.
The Conservation Science Summer Fellowship is a 12-week program where undergrads work one-on-one with a mentor and gain hands-on experience while completing a research project. Fellowships are based at the Beckman Center (Escondido, CA) unless otherwise stated.
If you are ineligible for the fellowship programs or unable to be on-site, we welcome volunteers who are passionate about conservation technology and want to contribute to our mission.
Please reach out to Holly Davis at hodavis@sdzwa.org to discuss volunteering opportunities.
